A note from Harry Ritter

CEO & Founder of Alma

When we started Alma in 2017, the idea was simple: give therapists a place to practice—and just as important, a place to belong. Back then, it looked like private offices, a cozy lounge, and an herbal tea-stocked kitchen. Today, it’s an online platform helping providers build thriving private practices and helping people find care.

In Practice is part industry insight, part inspiration, part word search—a physical reminder that even if you’re running a private practice of one, you’re not on your own. There’s no replacement for conversations with colleagues who can validate your experience or pass on advice, but we wanted to make something with the same intentions.

For curious clinicians who care deeply about their craft, clients, and what it means to grow ethically, practically, and personally in an evolving world.
