Holding Space without Losing Yourself
with Kathryn Esquer, Melvin Varghese, and Reanna Shay
Online
Tuesday, May 26th, 2026
5:00PM – 5:50PM UTC
In a world that feels increasingly fast and unpredictable, the role of a clinician has never been more vital or demanding. Between the shifting economic, political, and cultural landscape, in addition to the rapid rise of new technologies, the pressure to keep up can often pull us away from the very presence our clients need most.
The challenge of our time is not just managing a private practice. It is holding sacred space for others without losing our own groundedness in the process.
This session is a gentle invitation to pause and realign. We will bring together trusted experts Kathryn Esquer, PsyD, MBA, and Melvin Verghese, PhD, to discuss:
- Quiet burnout: Navigating systemic weight and professional exhaustion
- The power of community: Creating support systems that sustain you
- Intentional self-care: Practical tips for finding moments of restoration within your practice
We will conclude the session with a restorative sound bath, offering you a moment of relaxation and stillness before you reenter your day.
Don’t wait to sign up, the first 75 registrants to opt-in get a Holding Space Care Kit with surprise gifts!
