Gary began his career in mental health care at a CMHC, working his way from a case manager, then substance abuse counselor, then to a lead clinical supervisor. After experiencing burnout, he pursued training as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and made the switch to private practice while focusing on this population.
Lucy is an LCSW in California, Nevada, and Texas with six years of experience supporting adults and couples experiencing anxiety, stress, grief and loss, trauma, relationship concerns, infertility, pregnancy, and postpartum challenges. Her approach is trauma-informed, person-centered, and compassion-focused.
Paul started in the social work/nonprofit field, and worked primarily with clients living in the NYC shelter system. Today, the framework and ethics of social work strongly inform his clinical practice. He switched to private practice four years ago and now divides his time between seeing clients and providing supervision to LMSWs.
Elisabeth is a practicing clinician, as well as VP of Clinical at Alma. Her work focuses on using the principles of psychological flexibility in order to help individuals live meaningful, purpose-driven lives, and how the therapeutic relationship can be an environment in which flexibility can be learned and practiced. Recognizing a need for increased support among clinicians in private practice, she joined Alma in 2022.
