Google-Integrated Booking FAQs
If you have any additional questions about this feature, please reach out to our support team for more information.
This feature allows people who use Google to search for care to book consultations directly from search results pages, without visiting Alma’s website. These prospective clients will only be able to book during times you’re available, as determined by the consultation availability you set in the portal—meaning you retain full control over your schedule.
In order to participate in Google-Integrated Booking, you must:
- Offer in-person care, with an associated physical address where you are seeing clients
- Have consultation availability on your Alma profile
- Have an active Google Business Profile.
You’ll need to do this directly through Google’s site. For more information, check out their step-by-step guide to creating a Business Profile.
If you meet the above requirements but would prefer that clients not schedule directly from Google search results, please opt out in the Insurance & Partnerships page within the Alma portal.
If you cancel your Alma membership, prospective clients will no longer be able to book a consultation with you directly from a Google search page.
