Psychology Today Partnership Pilot FAQ
If you have more questions about the Psychology Today pilot program, you can always reach out to us!
Practice growth is a top priority for many of our members. To better support that goal, Alma is exploring a partnership with Psychology Today. The first step will be a six month pilot, during which participating Alma members will have the option to be reimbursed for a profile in Psychology Today’s online directory (which typically costs $29.95/month).
We invited a small number of Alma members to participate in the pilot based on a few factors, including availability for new clients and private practice goals.
Fill out the Psychology Today opt-in form to participate. As a reminder, this pilot is currently only open to members who received an invitation via email.
If you choose to participate, you’ll need to include a link to your Alma profile on your Psychology Today profile, and use our referral email address as your contact email. You’ll also need to use the Alma portal for scheduling and billing with clients who find your practice through this platform during the pilot.
You’ll pay for your profile using your own payment method. Then, Alma will reimburse you for the cost each month in the Alma portal.
No. Participation is totally optional—and if you’re not interested, no further action is required on your part.
You’ll find more information on building a profile in the Psychology Today opt-in form.
If you already have a Psychology Today profile, you are unfortunately ineligible for this pilot.
If you cancel your Alma membership, you will no longer be reimbursed for the cost of your Psychology Today profile.
After six months, Alma will evaluate the results of the pilot for our members and make a decision on whether to continue this partnership.
