Michael O’Brien, MA is a final-year doctoral candidate in the Counseling Psychology PhD program at Boston College and Clinical Trainee at Worcester Recovery Center / University of Massachusetts. Michael’s research focuses on positive youth development for LGBTQ individuals and broad trends in mental health related to socio-political events. Past clinical work has included Harvard-affiliated McLean-Franciscan, Mass General Hospital / Harvard Medical School, and University of Massachusetts / Worcester Recovery Center. Michael has his master’s in Mental Health Counseling from Boston College and his bachelor’s in Economics and Psychology from Harvard College.
